Udaipur/Jaypur. On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 'Nasha Mukta Yuva for Developed India' campaign. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma participated via video conference from the Udaipur Municipal Auditorium, listening to the Prime Minister's address to the youth.

During this event, the Chief Minister emphasized the crucial role of youth in nation-building. He urged young individuals to remain drug-free, disciplined, and thoughtful, channeling their energy, talent, and capabilities positively. He stated that the initiative launched by the Prime Minister would serve as an effective means for youth to instigate personal transformation.

The 'Nasha Mukta Yuva for Developed India' campaign will operate as a nationwide public movement for the next 100 weeks, encouraging community participation. Various organizations, including My Bharat volunteers, National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers, youth clubs, schools, colleges, universities, and social and spiritual organizations, will actively participate. Volunteers and organizations contributing significantly will be honored at the 50th, 75th, and 100th week milestones, fostering a sense of public service, social leadership, and collective responsibility among youth.

The Chief Minister reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi's belief that the youth is India's greatest strength. Energetic, aware, and drug-free youth are the true assets for national development and the driving force behind realizing the vision of a developed India.

He mentioned that the state government is taking effective measures to keep youth away from drugs. Over 350 colleges, engineering, and polytechnic institutions have established Nai Kiran de-addiction centers to prevent substance abuse. Additionally, under the Raj Savera program, de-addiction wards are being set up in district hospitals, and strict actions are being taken against illegal drug trafficking under a zero-tolerance policy.

State Government Focusing on Holistic Development of Youth –

The Chief Minister noted that to connect youth with sports, education, skill development, and employment, the state government has launched the Chief Minister's Youth Opportunity Portal and implemented a new Rajasthan Youth Policy to promote leadership, innovation, and responsible citizenship. Since the formation of the government, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been established to take decisive action against paper leak mafias. So far, 569 individuals have been arrested in connection with paper leaks and other irregularities. The state government has successfully conducted 410 examinations without any paper leaks. To date, over 178,000 positions have been filled, with recruitment processes ongoing for over 132,000 positions and preparations for new recruitment for over 70,000 positions. Additionally, more than 450,000 job opportunities have been created in the private sector.

Chief Minister Flags Off Women Empowerment Rally –

Earlier, the Chief Minister flagged off the Women Empowerment Rally at the Rajasthan Agricultural College in Udaipur as part of the Women Safety Commitment event. The rally featured the Kalika Patrolling Unit of Rajasthan Police, female constables, Ashwarohi police force, engaging tableaux on women's empowerment, female athletes, guides, NSS volunteers, and students from various educational institutions, delivering a powerful message about women's safety, respect, self-confidence, and their decisive role in society.

During the event, the Chief Minister encouraged youth to pledge to stay away from addiction. He also unveiled the 'Nasha Mukta Yuva for Developed India' youth icon poster. The ceremony was attended by Tribal Regional Development Minister Babulal Kharadi, Revenue Minister Hemant Meena, MP Mannalal Rawat, Chunnilal Garasia, MLAs Phoolsingh Meena, Pratap Lal Bheel, Uday Lal Dangi, Tarachand Jain, Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, local representatives, senior officials, police officers, and a large number of youth.
