Youth Congress Demonstrates in Delhi

The Youth Congress organized a protest march in the North Campus area of Delhi University on Friday, demanding the resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The organization also called for the withdrawal of the FIR filed against the protesting students and an independent investigation into the police actions that occurred on July 20.

According to a statement released by the Youth Congress, the demonstration was led by the national president, Uday Bhanu Chib, who accused authorities of intimidating individuals associated with the student movement and taking punitive measures against them.

Chib asserted that the court had instructed not to take any action against the students. He held the Home Minister accountable for the use of force against the students and insisted that he should resign. Furthermore, Chib raised concerns about the internal security of the country, questioning if these actions occurred without the Home Minister's knowledge.
