Bhubaneswar: A young man from Bhubaneswar has been detained by the Delhi Police for alleged involvement in anti-national activities and potential ties to Pakistan.

The individual, named Sheikh Imran, was apprehended on Friday night in the vicinity of the Capital police station by a specialized unit of the Delhi Police as part of an ongoing investigation.

Reports indicate that Imran is suspected of sharing anti-national material on social media platforms and had been under observation due to his alleged connections with Pakistan. He was subsequently taken into custody.

Authorities are continuing their investigation, and further information is expected soon.

Imran's father expressed concern, stating that his son has limited knowledge of mobile technology and is uncertain about the situation. He mentioned that the police had assured the family that Imran would be released after questioning, insisting on his son's innocence.
