Young Entrepreneur Thrives with Organic Egg Farming in Rajasthan

Organic farming has gained immense popularity, with many individuals earning substantial incomes through it. While some focus on fruits, others cultivate vegetables organically. In a unique twist, a young man from Rajasthan has ventured into organic egg farming, generating impressive profits.

Sanjay Kumar's Farm

Sanjay Kumar operates his farm near Chor Bawdi along the Udaipur-Gogunda highway, where he raises chickens specifically for organic egg production. He ensures that his chickens are fed only organic food, maintaining high standards for their diet.

Attention to Detail

Sanjay has also installed a reverse osmosis (RO) system to provide clean water for his chickens. This meticulous care ensures that the eggs produced are genuinely organic, as the chickens are nourished with only natural ingredients.

Cost of Production

According to Sanjay, the cost of producing one egg is approximately ₹25. He prioritizes quality feed, which results in larger and heavier eggs compared to conventional ones. These eggs are entirely organic.

Quality Feed from Gujarat

The feed for the chickens is sourced from Jamnagar in Gujarat, known for its high-quality organic feed that contributes to the production of organic eggs. Additionally, Sanjay supplements their diet with fresh organic vegetables.

Free-Range Chickens

Sanjay's farm is spacious, allowing the chickens to roam freely. He has around 400 birds of the Swarnadhara and Vanraja breeds, which collectively produce over 100 eggs daily. Sanjay takes great care of his chickens, avoiding the use of synthetic fertilizers and chemicals.

The organic eggs are in high demand, with customers willing to pay a premium for them. These high-quality eggs can sell for six times the price of regular eggs in the market.
