Yogi Adityanath Praises PM Modi for Ram Mandir Development Amidst Political Criticism
Yogi Adityanath Commends PM Modi for Ram Mandir
On Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his appreciation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the construction of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple and the installation of the Ram Lalla idol. During his address at a public gathering commemorating the second anniversary of the idol's installation, he criticized opposition parties for engaging in appeasement politics.
Adityanath claimed that opposition parties have turned Ayodhya into a site of unrest and conflict. He reflected on the various phases of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, stating that the very name Ayodhya signifies a place where no battles were fought, indicating that no adversary could withstand its valor. However, he accused certain individuals of transforming Ayodhya into a place of turmoil driven by greed, religious extremism, and appeasement.
Recalling the foundation-laying ceremony, idol installation, and flag hoisting, he noted that Ayodhya will always remember three significant moments under PM Modi's leadership: August 5, 2020, when the Prime Minister laid the temple's foundation; January 22, 2024, when he completed the idol's installation; and November 25, when he hoisted the saffron flag atop the temple.
In November, PM Modi and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat hoisted the saffron flag at the 191-foot high pinnacle of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, symbolizing the completion of its construction. Additionally, CM Yogi Adityanath thanked Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for his contributions to the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, acknowledging his presence at the event.
