Chief Minister's Praise for Fuel Tax Reduction

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, recently commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the reduction in fuel excise duties, describing it as a significant relief for citizens and businesses across the state. He remarked that over the past 11-12 years, the Prime Minister has taken crucial steps to steer 'New India' towards the goal of a 'Developed India.' The Noida International Airport is a vital part of this journey.

Uttar Pradesh's Global Aviation Role

Adityanath emphasized that the people of Uttar Pradesh are now providing a new direction to the country on the global aviation map, realizing the Prime Minister's vision. He criticized opposition parties like the Congress and the Samajwadi Party for hindering development due to their incompetence. From 2002 to 2017, Uttar Pradesh faced significant stagnation, but the rapid growth witnessed in the last 12 years under the leadership of our 'double-engine government' has helped break these barriers and present a new identity to the world.

Critique of Opposition Parties

While addressing the media, the Chief Minister accused opposition parties, including the Indian National Congress and the Samajwadi Party, of creating obstacles that historically slowed down infrastructure and economic development in Uttar Pradesh. He pointed out that policy delays and administrative hurdles during previous administrations had impeded progress, and he praised the current central and state administrations for facilitating the swift implementation of projects.

Impact of Tax Cuts on Economic Activity

Adityanath stressed that the reduction in excise duties would not only lower transportation costs but also make it more affordable for end consumers, thereby strengthening economic activity and supporting industries throughout the state. He reiterated the government's commitment to uninterrupted development and infrastructure expansion, emphasizing that collaborative efforts between the central and state governments are essential for achieving rapid progress.
