Yogi Adityanath Honors Legacy of Great Leaders on Atal Bihari Vajpayee's 101st Birth Anniversary

On Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the significant contributions of three prominent leaders—Pandit Syama Prasad Mukherjee, Deendayal Upadhyaya, and Atal Bihari Vajpayee—in steering India towards a new direction. He noted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, their legacies are being advanced to create a self-reliant and developed nation.

Speaking at the event marking the inauguration of the 'Rashtra Prerna Sthal' on the occasion of Vajpayee's 101st birthday, Adityanath remarked that Vajpayee's words about India's bright future were not merely expressions of hope but reflected his visionary outlook, deep faith, and unwavering determination towards the nation.

He quoted Vajpayee's poetry, stating, 'The darkness will fade, the sun will rise, and the lotus will bloom,' symbolizing the unshakeable belief in India's promising future, which is now manifesting as a developed India.

Adityanath stated, 'The leadership provided by Atal Ji as a poet, journalist, nationalist thinker, and true son of India is now visible to every Indian in the form of new development.'

He welcomed Prime Minister Modi, the chief guest at the 'Rashtra Prerna Sthal' ceremony, on behalf of the people of Uttar Pradesh, referring to him as a guiding force and a craftsman of a self-reliant and developed India.

The Chief Minister added, 'As we witness the current form of a self-reliant developed India inspired by the Prime Minister, we also draw new motivation from the guidance of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, and the revered Atal Ji.'

He also took a moment to pay tribute to the great sons of Mother India, including the eminent freedom fighter and educator, Mahamana Madan Mohan Malaviya, who founded Banaras Hindu University in Kashi.

Adityanath noted that in recognition of Malaviya's contributions, the Prime Minister honored him with the Bharat Ratna, acknowledging his invaluable services. He remarked that figures like Malaviya inspire every Indian with their legacy.
