Ensuring Compliance in Water Life Mission

Yogi Adityanath has instructed all district magistrates to strictly adhere to safety standards during excavation work related to the Water Life Mission. He emphasized the importance of promptly restoring all roads and pits once the work is completed. District magistrates and senior officials have been directed to personally inspect the sites to ensure compliance. The Chief Minister made it clear that any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated.


Commitment to Clean Drinking Water

The Yogi government is actively working to enhance access to clean drinking water from urban centers to rural areas, benefiting millions under the Water Life Mission. Following the Chief Minister's directives, district magistrates, senior officials associated with the mission, and other relevant departmental officers must assess the condition of excavated roads and pits and ensure their immediate repair. He reiterated that strict action will be taken against any level of negligence.


Accountability for Delays and Incomplete Work

Agencies and contractors found responsible for delays, incomplete work, or negligence will face fines and may be blacklisted. The Chief Minister has instructed officials to prioritize resolving complaints related to water supply, leaks, and excavation logged on the Water Solutions Portal.
