Yogi Adityanath Critiques Samajwadi Party's Governance in Uttar Pradesh
Yogi Adityanath's Strong Criticism of Previous Government
On Friday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a fierce critique against the Samajwadi Party, accusing the former government of providing protection to mafia elements, obstructing welfare schemes, and allowing chaos to thrive across the state. Speaking at a public gathering in Madhuban, Mau, he asserted that the BJP government has significantly improved the state's security environment and ensured that welfare initiatives reach the underprivileged.

Adityanath remarked that the previous administration had capitulated to the mafia, resulting in widespread disorder. He confidently stated that no mafia or goon dares to disrupt any festival today. He warned that anyone attempting to interfere with religious celebrations would face consequences akin to those faced by Ravana and Kansa.
He highlighted the challenges faced by daughters who could not attend school due to harassment from goons, and the constant fear of abduction. Business owners were compelled to close their shops before sunset, and families lived in anxiety if a member was late returning home after dark.
In an environment rife with riots and chaos, he noted that the youth faced an identity crisis, and job opportunities were scarce. When they ventured outside the state, the mere mention of Uttar Pradesh made people wary. Adityanath emphasized that prior to 2014, there were no facilities for the poor. He pointed out that since Narendra Modi took charge, the country has undergone significant transformation.
He mentioned that Modi identifies four key groups: the poor, the youth, women, and farmers who provide food. He argued that uplifting these groups would lead to national progress. Adityanath criticized the Samajwadi Party for failing to implement Modi's plans in Uttar Pradesh from 2014 to 2017, claiming they did nothing for the poor and were subservient to the mafia.

The Chief Minister questioned those who now preach about governance, asking why the Samajwadi Party did not provide 6.5 million houses for the poor during their tenure. He pointed out that despite being in power four times, they failed to construct toilets or provide rations to the needy, while goons seized rations during their rule. Today, he noted, the state offers free healthcare to one crore people, ensuring that every farmer and poor individual benefits from these services.
