Yogi Adityanath Addresses Rally in West Bengal

On Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed a large gathering in Bankura, West Bengal. During his campaign for the upcoming assembly elections, he launched sharp criticisms against the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government, emphasizing the need for a "double-engine" government in the state.

Threat to Hindu Identity

Adityanath remarked that Bengal is the sacred land of Swami Vivekananda and Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, yet the current administration is disrespecting these spiritual icons. He accused the TMC of pursuing appeasement policies that jeopardize the Hindu identity in the state. The Chief Minister stated, 'Bengal has now become a hub of lawlessness, reminiscent of the situation in Uttar Pradesh before the BJP's rise.'

Highlighting the UP Model

Referring to the transformation in Uttar Pradesh, Yogi noted that a new era of development and progress has begun there. He asserted that the state has dealt with criminals appropriately. In Uttar Pradesh, there is no appeasement, but rather an "inclusive Hinduism" where every community feels secure. He promised that once the BJP comes to power in Bengal, incidents of violence, rape, and murder will become a thing of the past.

Serious Allegations Against TMC

Yogi Adityanath accused TMC workers of attacking BJP members, including severing their hands and committing murders. He assured that these thugs would be dealt with appropriately. Criticizing Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, he pointed out her silence on the attacks against minority Hindus in neighboring Bangladesh, fearing a loss of her voter base. He claimed that the TMC's governance has altered Bengal's demographics due to illegal immigration.

BJP's Commitment to Bengal

Adityanath expressed confidence that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the BJP will establish a majority government in Bengal. He urged the public to support the BJP to preserve the state's identity and reconnect it with the mainstream of nationalism. He assured that the BJP would protect the inclusive nature of Bengal and guide it back onto the path of development.
