Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh has accused the opposition of misleading the public by spreading false information, asserting that the BJP stands firm on truth and public trust. While addressing a conference of urban and rural booth presidents in Gorakhpur, he urged party workers to bolster the organization at the booth level ahead of the upcoming elections. He emphasized that elections are ultimately won at the booth level and encouraged workers to counter the misleading political narratives propagated by the opposition.

Adityanath remarked that the opposition believes that if a lie is repeated often enough, it will eventually be accepted as truth. However, he maintained that a lie remains a lie. He noted that while the truth may be temporarily obscured, it ultimately shines through and becomes a symbol of public trust, which the BJP embodies. He further stated that it is crucial to understand the conspiracy and malice behind the narratives spread by the opposition, which are attempting to create a false narrative that needs to be exposed. Referring to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Adityanath accused the Congress party of trying to mislead voters through NGOs by distributing forms.

He claimed that during the 2024 elections, the Congress party had used NGOs at the booth level to collect forms from people, promising that if they came to power, each individual would receive 1 lakh rupees in their bank accounts. This issue later led to the filing of FIRs. Emphasizing the importance of grassroots organization, Adityanath referenced Prime Minister Narendra Modi's assertion that election outcomes are determined at the booth level.
