Initiative to Enhance Awareness of Yamuna River's Cleanliness

The Directorate of Education has initiated a year-long campaign titled 'Maa Yamuna Swachhta Abhiyan' to promote the significance of a clean Yamuna River. This information was shared in an official statement.


A circular released on Monday outlined that the campaign aims to educate students about the importance of water conservation and the preservation of the Yamuna River. It noted that this initiative will be implemented in government, government-aided, and private schools from July 2025 to March 2026.
