The events unfolded in the Baluwakot area, where the woman began a romantic relationship with a man in 2024, who was reportedly her brother-in-law. As their relationship deepened, he assured her of marriage and urged her to separate from her husband.

How the Woman Was Deceived

Convinced by his promises, the woman signed an affidavit in February 2025 and filed for divorce in July 2025. However, during this time, the man married another woman. Upon learning of this betrayal, she was left in shock and promptly reported the matter to the police.

The woman also has a six-year-old daughter, while her husband works in Delhi. Her marital relationship is now on the verge of collapse, leaving her in a difficult situation after being deceived by her lover.

Police Action Taken

In response to her complaint, the police registered a case against the 22-year-old accused for deceiving her into a false marriage and committing physical exploitation. The accused has been apprehended, and the investigation is ongoing.
