Tragic Incident in Muzaffarnagar

In a shocking incident in the New Mandi police jurisdiction of Muzaffarnagar district, a woman has reportedly killed her husband by strangulation following a family dispute. Authorities confirmed the arrest of the accused wife on Sunday.


According to Inspector Dinesh Chandra Baghel, the incident occurred on Friday when Kavita, aged 30, allegedly strangled her husband Sanjay Kumar, who was 40 years old, in the A to Z Road area.


The victim's father, Bhopal Singh, filed a complaint against Kavita, accusing her of murdering his son, which led to her arrest by the police on Saturday.


During the interrogation, Kavita revealed that she had committed the act while Sanjay was asleep. She stated that the motive behind the murder was her husband's neglect due to his first wife. The couple had been married since 2000, and Sanjay's first wife resides in their ancestral village, Tanda Majra. The police are currently investigating the case further.
