Wife of Pahalgam Attack Victim Celebrates Government's Action Against Terrorism

A Grateful Wife's Response to Government Action

Balasore: The spouse of Prashant Satpathy, a victim of the Pahalgam attack, expressed her gratitude towards the government for its decisive actions against terrorist camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. She believes that this will make terrorists recognize the significance of human life.

Priyadarshini, who tragically lost her husband in the April 22 attack that claimed 26 lives, stated, “I am overjoyed and thankful to the government for taking such a courageous step. The army had promised me near my husband's body that action would be taken, and it has been fulfilled today.”

She further remarked, “I feel relieved knowing that terrorists will now comprehend the value of human life and its preciousness. My husband's sacrifice was not in vain.”

The Indian military executed missile strikes targeting nine terrorist locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, including the stronghold of Jaish-e-Mohammad in Bahawalpur and the base of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Muridke. This operation was named 'Operation Sindoor.'

Priyadarshini noted that terrorists had taken away the 'sindoor' from many women's foreheads, and they deserved to be punished.

While acknowledging her husband's absence, she emphasized, “Such attacks should never occur again anywhere in the world.”

She expressed confidence in the government's commitment to action, though she was uncertain about the timing.

“Terrorism must be eradicated not just from India, but globally. Everyone deserves to live without fear,” she stated.

Priyadarshini concluded by asserting that the battle against terrorism must persist until the end, emphasizing, “Human life should be valued and respected. I know I cannot find happiness forever, but no one else should endure this pain.”
