Who is the New CEO of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Trust? Meet Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra!
Appointment of New CEO for Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Trust
In Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, Air Marshal (retd) Jeetendra Mishra has been appointed as the inaugural CEO of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, as announced by officials on Wednesday. Mishra, who previously led the Western Air Command during Operation Sindoor, was chosen from a pool of 5,585 applicants, with his name emerging from a shortlist of three candidates.
This appointment follows a recent scandal involving the alleged misappropriation of temple donations, which resulted in the arrest of eight individuals and the resignation of Champat Rai from his position as general secretary.
The selection committee, chaired by retired Justice Pramod Kohli, included retired Lt Gen Vishnukant Chaturvedi and former scientist Suresh Haware. They submitted their final recommendations to Trust treasurer Govind Dev Giri on Tuesday.
According to committee secretary Sameer Panda, the panel identified three exceptionally qualified professionals based on their leadership skills, management experience, integrity, and vision.
