The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) is recognized as the largest entrance examination in India based on candidate participation.

Conducted annually by the NTA, NEET serves as the gateway for admissions into medical colleges, offering a total of 1,08,000 seats for the MBBS program—approximately 56,000 in government institutions and around 52,000 in private colleges.

Additionally, NEET scores are utilized for admissions into undergraduate programs in dentistry, Ayurveda, Unani, and Siddha.
