Recognition for Odisha Police Personnel


Bhubaneswar: On the upcoming Independence Day, 22 individuals from Odisha, including Additional Superintendent of Police Rabindra Kumar Panda and Commandant Naresh Kumar Patel, will be recognized for their exemplary service in policing and public welfare, as reported by official sources.


The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced that both Panda and Patel will receive the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM) due to their significant contributions to law enforcement.


In addition, nine members of the Odisha Police will be honored with the Medal for Gallantry, acknowledging their remarkable courage while on duty.


Moreover, 11 officers will be celebrated with the Medal for Meritorious Service, recognizing their commitment and long-term dedication to their roles.
