Amman: On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi departed from Jordan, heading to Ethiopia as part of his four-day tour across three nations.
In a notable gesture, Jordan's Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II personally drove PM Modi to the airport to bid him farewell.
The Ministry of External Affairs' spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, shared on social media, "A successful visit to Jordan concludes. Reflecting the strong ties between India and Jordan, HRH Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II saw PM @narendramodi off at the airport. PM is now en route to Ethiopia for the next leg of his journey."

During his inaugural visit to Ethiopia, PM Modi is set to address a Joint Session of Parliament, discussing India's role as the 'Mother of Democracy' and the potential benefits of the India-Ethiopia partnership for the Global South.
Additionally, he will engage in talks with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali and connect with the Indian community residing there.
PM Modi's journey began in Jordan, where he arrived on Monday for a two-day visit at the invitation of King Abdullah II.
During this visit, India and Jordan signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) covering areas such as culture, renewable energy, water management, digital public infrastructure, and a twinning arrangement between Petra and Ellora, aimed at enhancing bilateral relations.
Following Ethiopia, Modi's next destination will be Oman, marking the final stop on this three-nation tour.
