Iran Confirms Participation in Peace Talks in Islamabad


Islamabad: The Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian, has officially confirmed that Iran will take part in peace negotiations facilitated by Pakistan with the United States, as announced by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday.


During a productive phone call, Shehbaz expressed his gratitude for the Iranian leadership's decision to accept Pakistan's invitation to host these crucial talks in Islamabad later this week, aimed at restoring peace in the region.


Pezeshkian reiterated Iran's commitment to the upcoming discussions and acknowledged Pakistan's role in facilitating the dialogue, while also extending his best wishes to the Pakistani populace.
