In her video, a visibly shaken Dutta recounted her experiences of relentless harassment since she first spoke out in 2018. "I am being harassed in my own home. I just called the cops, and they told me to go to the police station to lodge a complaint. I’ll probably do that tomorrow—I’m not well," she stated.
The 40-year-old actress revealed that the stress from these incidents has led to a decline in her health. "I’ve been harassed so much over the last 4–5 years that I’ve developed Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I can’t do anything—my house is a mess," she claimed, alleging that hired help in her home has contributed to theft and other issues.
Additionally, she shared another video featuring loud banging noises in the background, explaining that such disturbances have been a daily occurrence since 2020. "I got tired of complaining to the building management and gave up a few years ago," she remarked.
Dutta expressed that the harassment has significantly affected her mental health, stating that she recites Hindu mantras to manage her anxiety. "Yesterday I posted about it, and today this happened. Now people should understand what I’ve been going through," she added, promising to provide more details in her FIR.
Public response to her videos has been largely supportive, with many commending her for her courage in speaking out once more.
Dutta first gained national attention in 2018 when she accused actor Nana Patekar of sexual harassment during the filming of Horn 'Ok' Pleassss. This accusation sparked a broader dialogue about workplace harassment in India. She also alleged inappropriate behavior by director Vivek Agnihotri on the set of Chocolate, a claim he has denied. Patekar was later exonerated by the police.
As of now, there has been no official statement from authorities regarding Dutta’s recent allegations.
