What’s Behind India's Diplomatic Push in Bahrain Against Terrorism?

Indian Delegation Arrives in Bahrain
Manama: A delegation representing various Indian political parties arrived in Bahrain on Saturday as part of India's extensive diplomatic efforts to emphasize its firm stance against cross-border terrorism.
The group, headed by prominent BJP figure Baijayant Jay Panda, was welcomed at the airport by Ambassador Vinod K Jacob.
The Indian Embassy in Bahrain shared on X, "The All-Party Delegation led by H E @PandaJay Member of Parliament has arrived in Bahrain. India’s steadfast position against cross-border terrorism will be a focal point in all discussions."
This delegation is part of a larger initiative involving seven multi-party teams dispatched to 33 capitals worldwide to inform the global community about Pakistan's actions and India's counter-terrorism measures.
The backdrop of this diplomatic mission is the heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, particularly following the tragic Pahalgam attack that resulted in 26 fatalities.
In response, India executed targeted strikes on terrorist facilities within Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on May 7. Subsequently, Pakistan attempted to retaliate against Indian military installations on May 8, 9, and 10, prompting a robust response from India.
The military confrontations concluded with an agreement to cease hostilities after discussions between the military operations directors of both nations on May 10.
