Explosions Near Fordo Nuclear Facility


Dubai: A report from an Iranian news agency with ties to the government indicated that two explosions were detected near the Fordo nuclear enrichment facility, which is situated deep underground.


Nour News, associated with Iran's Supreme National Security Council, shared on its Telegram channel that the blasts were audible in the vicinity of the Fordo site, which is located several hundred meters below the surface.


In a separate incident, Iran's official IRNA news agency disclosed that a radar installation close to Tabriz was targeted, as confirmed by a local official in East Azerbaijan province.


Majid Farshi informed IRNA that 11 military locations in East Azerbaijan had come under attack, resulting in the deaths of 18 individuals, including one aid worker from the Red Crescent.
