Protest Incident Involving CJP Leader

Jaipur: During a protest on Monday, Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), was reportedly assaulted by two individuals while being carried by supporters. The police confirmed that the two suspects have been taken into custody.

After the incident, Dipke spoke to the crowd, denouncing divisive politics and urging unity beyond religious and caste differences.

In a subsequent video shared on X, he claimed that the attack was a strategy by those aiming to undermine their movement.

"We cockroaches will not be intimidated by these tactics. (Union Education Minister) Dharmendra Pradhan must resign... this is our only goal," he stated.

He also reiterated on X, "Stay focused. Dharmendra Pradhan Must Resign!"

According to police reports and eyewitness accounts, the altercation took place at Shaheed Smarak, where many young people had gathered to protest issues like the alleged NEET paper leak, the CBSE marking system, and rising unemployment.

As Dipke arrived and was hoisted onto supporters' shoulders, he was allegedly slapped by two youths in the crowd. His supporters quickly apprehended the assailants and retaliated before police intervened.

Footage of the incident has circulated widely on social media.

One of the detained individuals, Rakesh Gurjar, claimed to be a nationalist and accused Dipke of having a 'Jihadi' mindset, asserting that the paper leak was merely a pretext.

CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka responded to the incident by stating that Rajasthan has recently become a hotspot for paper leaks.

He expressed concern over the decline of the state's education system, which has historically produced many IIT graduates and chartered accountants.

Ranka emphasized that the protest's turnout reflected significant public concern and vowed to push for educational reforms.

Protesters displayed placards with messages like "Stop paper leak" and "We love the country, reject corruption," while some women participated with their children.

During the demonstration, chants demanding Pradhan's resignation were prevalent. Volunteers even sketched a cockroach at the protest site, accompanied by slogans calling for the minister's resignation.

Dipke announced plans for a march to Delhi on June 20, asserting they would not return without achieving their goal of a resignation.

The protest concluded with the national anthem, and Dipke was escorted to his vehicle by supporters, who chanted 'Vande Mataram' and 'Bharat Mata ki Jai.'

The CJP organized this demonstration to address concerns regarding examination irregularities, paper leaks, and unemployment, according to police.

In response to the attack, AAP leader Manish Sisodia condemned the act as "cowardly," stating, "This is what an 'army of goondas' of a scared and corrupt king can do."

He further criticized those responsible for orchestrating NEET paper leaks, claiming they are jeopardizing the futures of countless youth.
