Shooting Incident at Kapil Sharma's Cafe

Mumbai: A shooting incident occurred at Kapil Sharma's newly opened Kap's Cafe in Surrey, British Columbia, on Thursday.

Reports indicate that at least nine shots were fired at the location, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The attack has been claimed by Khalistani terrorist Harjit Singh Laddi.

This cafe marks Kapil's debut in the hospitality sector, having just had its soft launch days prior to the incident.

Co-managed by Kapil's wife, Ginni Chatrath, the cafe has received a warm reception from patrons. Kapil has been sharing glimpses of the cafe on social media, showcasing its attractive pink-and-white decor, complete with crystal chandeliers, artificial flowers, and baby pink sofas.

The menu features a variety of offerings, including their signature coffee and a selection of desserts like lemon pistachio cake, fudgy brownies, and croissants.

Recently, the cafe's management expressed gratitude to customers for their enthusiastic support, stating, "We’re so grateful for the amazing turnout! Thank you for your patience as we do our best to seat everyone. Our cafe is currently experiencing a high volume with a big line-up. We appreciate your support during our soft launch."

On the professional side, Kapil is currently hosting the third season of his popular chat show, "The Great Indian Kapil Show," available on Netflix.

The show features well-known personalities such as Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, and Navjot Singh Sidhu.

Additionally, Kapil is looking forward to the release of the sequel to his successful film, "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon."
