The officers voiced their worries regarding the lack of volunteers at the protest site, especially given the anticipated large crowd. One officer was heard suggesting that the organizers should recruit volunteers to help manage the attendees.
According to police sources, they had repeatedly warned the CJP about the potential chaos that could arise from insufficient crowd control measures as more people arrived.
A senior police official, who wished to remain anonymous, stated that they had reached out to the CJP, urging them to take charge of the crowd and uphold public order.
The CJP's 'Sansad Chalo' protest in New Delhi escalated into violence, resulting in injuries to 118 police officers, including several senior and female officers, along with around 60 protesters.
Nevertheless, the situation led to a significant political development on July 25, when the CJP decided to end its 36-day protest at Jantar Mantar regarding the NEET issue, following the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, claiming that the government had finally met all their demands.
