During their phone call, Modi condemned the recent assaults on vital infrastructure in the region, emphasizing that such actions jeopardize regional stability and disrupt global supply chains. He reiterated the necessity of protecting freedom of navigation and ensuring the security of shipping routes.


In a post on 'X', the Prime Minister stated, 'I spoke with President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian and conveyed Eid and Nowruz greetings. We expressed hope that this festive season brings peace, stability, and prosperity to West Asia.'
