Tianjin: Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized India's dedication to enhancing its relationship with China, founded on mutual trust, respect, and sensitivity, during extensive discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping aimed at revitalizing bilateral ties.


In his opening remarks broadcasted on television, Modi highlighted that the well-being of approximately 2.8 billion individuals is intertwined with the cooperation between India and China.


He pointed out that peace and stability have been maintained along the border following last year's disengagement, and announced the resumption of direct flights between the two nations.


Additionally, Modi referenced the revival of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.


He noted that there was agreement among the Special Representatives regarding border management.


India and China utilize a framework involving Special Representatives to tackle border-related issues.
