New Delhi: On Friday, India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar engaged in extensive discussions with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, addressing the ongoing crisis in West Asia and its repercussions on energy supplies and maritime security.


Araghchi is currently in New Delhi for a three-day visit to participate in a BRICS meeting.


Jaishankar took to social media to share, "Had a detailed conversation with FM Abbas Araghchi of Iran this morning in Delhi."




He further elaborated on their discussions regarding the West Asia situation and its broader implications, along with bilateral matters of shared interest.
