When the bride learned of this, she rushed to inspect the jewelry herself and became enraged, ultimately refusing to proceed with the marriage. Hostage Situation and Resolution
Following the bride's refusal, her family detained the groom and his relatives. The negotiations between the two families began on Saturday night and concluded by Sunday afternoon. The bride's father demanded reimbursement for the expenses incurred during the welcoming ceremony. After eight hours of discussions, the groom's father agreed to the financial settlement, and the wedding party returned without the bride. The bride's father has promised to settle the accounts within 15 days. For now, both families have managed to resolve the matter amicably.
