Current Weather Conditions in Delhi

On Thursday, the minimum temperature in Safdarjung, the national capital, was recorded at 25.4 degrees Celsius. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted the possibility of thunderstorms and rain in various areas throughout the day.


According to data from other weather monitoring stations, the minimum temperatures were noted as follows: 24.9 degrees Celsius in Palam, 23.6 degrees Celsius at Lodhi Road, 25 degrees Celsius at Ridge, and 24.1 degrees Celsius in Ayanagar.


Temperature and Air Quality Forecast

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 36 degrees Celsius, with forecasts indicating potential thunderstorms and rain in certain locations. Additionally, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi stood at 136, categorizing it as 'moderate'.


As per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the AQI ratings are classified as follows: 0-50 is considered 'good', 51-100 is 'satisfactory', 101-200 is 'moderate', 201-300 is 'poor', 301-400 is 'very poor', and 401-500 is deemed 'severe'.
