Delhi Weather Forecast

Today, the skies over the national capital, Delhi, are expected to be overcast with a chance of light rain. This information was provided by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday. The minimum temperature recorded in the capital on Friday was 27.2 degrees Celsius, which is typical for this season.


According to the weather department, relative humidity was measured at 75 percent as of 8:30 AM. The IMD reported that in the past 24 hours, 7.6 millimeters (mm) of rain was recorded at the Ridge station in Delhi. Meanwhile, rainfall at the Safdarjung, Palam, and Lodhi Road weather stations ranged from 1 to 3 mm.


The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) noted that at 9 AM, the Air Quality Index (AQI) for the national capital stood at 84, which falls within the satisfactory range. The CPCB categorizes AQI levels as follows: 0-50 is 'Good', 51-100 is 'Satisfactory', 101-200 is 'Moderate', 201-300 is 'Poor', 301-400 is 'Very Poor', and 401-500 is 'Severe'.
