Security Measures in Place

Ahead of President Putin's visit, security arrangements have been tightened in the national capital. Authorities have withheld details about his accommodation for security reasons. Senior police officials indicated that multiple security units will monitor every activity from his arrival to departure.

An official stated, 'Coordination is ongoing minute by minute, and all relevant agencies have been instructed to maintain maximum vigilance at all times. Over 5,000 police personnel will be deployed for stringent monitoring.' Top officials from the Delhi police are overseeing route security, traffic management, and the safety of areas that President Putin will traverse.

Another official mentioned, 'Security has been heightened on all routes for VVIP movement. Traffic advisories will be issued periodically to minimize inconvenience for travelers. Anti-drone systems will also be deployed.' A multi-layered security perimeter has been established by the Delhi police, central agencies, and Putin's personal security team, which includes SWAT teams, anti-terror units, snipers, and Quick Response Teams (QRT) stationed at sensitive locations. Additionally, high-quality CCTV networks and technical surveillance systems have been activated across all areas related to the visit.
