The victim, identified as Avadhesh Chand Lodhi from Kunjpur, approached the Soharamau police station around 12:10 AM to file a complaint regarding the assault. He explained that he had been performing the Katha from March 30 to April 6 at the residence of Rinku Singh in Rasoolpur, with acquaintances Anup Dwivedi and Manish Pandey responsible for the payment. After completing the recitation, when Avadhesh demanded the agreed amount, both men reacted violently, taking him in their vehicle to various locations in Lucknow, where they continued to abuse and assault him, aided by two unidentified individuals.


Police Action

Following the victim's complaint, the police registered a case at the Soharamau police station based on his statement. Authorities have apprehended Anup Dwivedi and his accomplices, and further legal proceedings are underway.
