Early Friday morning, violence broke out outside a mosque in Chomu town, Jaipur, due to the removal of stones, prompting authorities to deploy tear gas to disperse the crowd. According to officials, they were attempting to clear stones from the Kalandari mosque area when a group gathered and began throwing stones at them.
The incident occurred around 3 AM, resulting in injuries to several police officers. In a statement, the police mentioned that they were trying to remove the stones with the consent of local residents, but suddenly a crowd attacked them with stones. However, the situation is now under control.
