Violence Erupts at Khesari Lal Yadav's Event in Bihar

Reports indicate that a significant disturbance occurred during a performance by Bhojpuri cinema star Khesari Lal Yadav in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The incident took place at an animal fair on Wednesday, where Yadav was scheduled to perform. As he took the stage, the audience began to boo, and soon after, shoes and slippers were hurled towards the stage. The situation escalated into violence, prompting police to intervene with batons. It has been reported that three police officers sustained injuries during the chaos.

According to sources, the event was highly anticipated, drawing a large crowd of fans and attendees. However, as Yadav approached the stage to sing, the booing intensified, leading to a confrontation between fans and troublemakers in the audience. The atmosphere quickly deteriorated, forcing many attendees to flee the scene. The organizers had to halt the performance abruptly.

Violence Prior to the Event
Videos of the incident have circulated widely on social media, showing police attempting to control the unruly crowd. Notably, this was not the first instance of violence at the fair; just two days prior, there was a brawl among dancers on the same stage.

Event Organized by Former MLA
It is worth mentioning that the animal fair has been organized for several years by former BJP MLA Ramsurat Rai in the Garha area of Muzaffarpur. When the incident occurred, thousands were reportedly present at the fair. Viral videos clearly depict individuals throwing shoes and slippers at the stage while police were seen trying to restore order.

Police Blame Event Management
Senior Superintendent of Police Kantesh Kumar Mishra attributed the incident to the negligence of the event management. He stated that the organizers had informed the police to expect a crowd of 30,000 to 40,000, but the actual turnout was between 100,000 to 150,000, complicating police efforts. As a result, three officers were injured during the incident.

Uncertainty Surrounding the Instigators
As of now, it remains unclear who instigated the violence. There has been no official statement regarding why the booing began or who was responsible for throwing shoes and slippers at the stage.
