Vikramaditya Chaufla Leads Indian Racketlon Team at World Championships

Indian Team for Racketlon World Championships Announced

Vikramaditya Chaufla has been appointed as the captain of the Indian Racketlon team for the third consecutive year, set to compete in the World Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The Indian squad, revealed by the Racketlon India Sports Association (RISA), includes five other players: Prashant Sen, Monesh Mashruwala, Akshay Gandhi, Raghav Jatia, and Nidhi Tiwari. They will participate in the Challenge Cup, entering as the defending champions after clinching the title last year.

Chaufla Expresses Pride in Leading the Team

Racketlon, a sport that merges table tennis, badminton, squash, and tennis, determines the winner based on the total score across all four games. Chaufla expressed his pride in leading the Indian team, stating, "Captaining India for a third time at the World Championship is a great honor. Representing our nation fills me with pride, and we are eager to defend our title."

Support from RISA for the Indian Team

K K Cheema, the President of RISA, extended his congratulations to the selected athletes and wished them success at the World Championships. Krishna Kotak, who introduced Racketlon to India, noted that the Indian team's consistent international performances highlight the sport's growth in the country and offered his best wishes to the squad.

India has been enhancing its presence in international Racketlon, and the upcoming World Championships will serve as a platform for the defending champions to demonstrate their advancements and build on their recent achievements.
