Vikas Sharma Takes Charge as New SDM (Civil) of Bharmour

Appointment of Vikas Sharma as SDM (Civil)

The government of Himachal Pradesh has appointed Mr. Vikas Sharma, an officer of the Himachal Pradesh Service (HPS) from the 2016 batch, to the role of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Civil) in Bharmour. This decision was formalized through an official notification issued by the state authorities.

Previously, Mr. Sharma held the position of Additional Commissioner at the Municipal Corporation in Palampur, located in District Kangra. He has now been assigned to the SDM (Civil) role in Bharmour, District Chamba, effective immediately for the benefit of the public.

As a result of this new appointment, Mr. Kulbir Singh Rana, also an HPS officer from the 2016 batch, has been relieved of his additional responsibilities as SDM of Bharmour. He will continue his duties as Additional District Magistrate and Project Officer for the Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP) in Bharmour.
