Remarks on V.O. Chidambaram Pillai

While addressing the gathering, Vice President Radhakrishnan remarked that V.O. Chidambaram Pillai was a person who lived a life of complete sacrifice without expecting any rewards, dedicating his entire life to selfless service. He emphasized that if we enjoy freedom and rights today, it is because V.O. Chidambaram Pillai sowed the first seeds of that freedom on this earth. Today, we have laid the foundation stone for his statue.
