Opposition's Accusations Targeting Ram Mandir

The opposition has been vocally criticizing the government and the trust over allegations of misappropriation of funds related to the Ram Mandir. In response to these claims, Alok Kumar, the President of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and a senior lawyer, has addressed a letter to Ashutosh Tiwari, a police officer in Ayodhya. In this correspondence, he has expressed strong objections to statements made by prominent leaders such as Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Ram Gopal Yadav, Sanjay Singh, and Arvind Kejriwal, urging the police to take action regarding these allegations.

Call for Investigation into Allegations

In his letter, Alok Kumar emphasized the necessity of thoroughly investigating the truth behind the accusations made by these leaders. He suggested that the police should inquire about the sources of their information. Furthermore, he stated that if these leaders possess concrete evidence, they should assist in the investigation. However, he warned that if such serious allegations are made without any proof, strict legal action should be taken to prevent the spread of misinformation in society.

Specific Statements Under Scrutiny

The letter references various statements made by opposition leaders. For instance, Ram Gopal Yadav from the Samajwadi Party alleged that there has been a scam exceeding ₹20,000 crores in the Ram Mandir, claiming that the complete account of gold, silver, diamonds, and cash donated by devotees has not been disclosed.

Arvind Kejriwal from the Aam Aadmi Party asserted that over ₹200 crores worth of gold, silver, and cash has been stolen from the offerings and donation boxes at the temple.

Sanjay Singh, also from the Aam Aadmi Party, echoed similar claims, alleging that more than ₹200 crores have been misappropriated, implicating around 50 employees in the process.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra from the Congress party demanded that if such a significant scam is indeed occurring, the CCTV footage from the temple should be made public to reveal the truth.
