Rodriguez, who is related to Delcy Rodriguez, the acting president, indicated that the number of confirmed fatalities has significantly increased from the previous count of 920. In addition to the deaths, he reported that 3,238 individuals have sustained injuries, and 3,142 families have been rendered homeless due to the earthquakes.

Missing Persons Crisis

In a troubling development, over 55,000 individuals are currently unaccounted for in Venezuela, as per a dedicated missing persons website established following the disaster.
