In a statement shared on social media, the department noted, "SMOKE ADVISORY: Camp Pendleton is experiencing a vegetation fire on their base. While smoke may be noticeable, there is no fire threat to our district." The incident, referred to as the Pipeline Fire, is located approximately 1.2 miles north of the intersection of Stuart Mesa Road and Hammond Drive within the base in San Diego County.
