Varun Gandhi's Recent Interaction with PM Modi

After a significant gap, Varun Gandhi from the Nehru-Gandhi family has posted a family photo with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Once considered close to the Prime Minister, Varun has distanced himself due to his criticisms of BJP policies, particularly those affecting farmers. It appears he is attempting to mend his political future, especially after his aspirations to join Congress fell through, making it politically unfeasible. His connection with the Prime Minister has left a notable impression on many.

On social media, Varun expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with Prime Minister Modi, stating that he felt blessed to receive his guidance and blessings. He noted the paternal affection and protection emanating from Modi's presence, reinforcing his belief that the Prime Minister is a true guardian of the nation and its people. Varun, who has served as an MP from Pilibhit three times, was not granted a ticket for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections, a fate shared by his mother, Menaka Gandhi.

Menaka Gandhi, in a conversation with a news outlet, expressed her confidence that Varun would continue to contribute positively to the country in the future. She acknowledged that the final decision rests with the party. Varun has served commendably as an MP, and regardless of the path he chooses in life, he will always aim to serve the nation. Since 1996, either Menaka or Varun has held the Pilibhit seat, with Varun winning elections in 2009 and 2019. In the 2009 elections, he secured a significant victory against Congress's VM Singh, and in 2019, he triumphed over SP candidate Hemraj Verma.
