In his inaugural IPL season, Vaibhav Suryavanshi played for the Rajasthan Royals, accumulating 252 runs across 7 innings. With an impressive strike rate exceeding 200, he recorded one century and one half-century. Unfortunately, the Rajasthan Royals had a disappointing season, finishing 9th in the IPL standings after defeating the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Out of 14 matches, they managed to win only 4 and lost 10.
