Additionally, the BCCI representative mentioned that Vaibhav is also being considered for the Zimbabwe tour later in 2026. Chasing Sachin Tendulkar's Record

Should Vaibhav earn his India cap, he is set to surpass a long-held record by the legendary Sachin Tendulkar. Currently, Tendulkar holds the title for the youngest player to debut for the Indian senior men's team, having made his first appearance at the age of 16 years and 205 days during the 1989 tour of Pakistan. In contrast, Shafali Verma is the youngest debutant for the Indian women's team, debuting at 15 years, seven months, and 27 days.
