Support for Rishabh Pant from Uttarakhand's Chief Minister
Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, has pledged his full support to Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant, who has requested assistance from the state government to secure land for a new home. Pant aims to relocate from Delhi back to his roots in Uttarakhand. In response to Pant's message on social media, Dhami referred to him as a source of pride for the state and assured that the issue would be addressed by the relevant authorities.
Rishabh Pant's Request to Return to His Roots
In his earlier communication on social media, Pant expressed his desire to return to Uttarakhand after struggling for nearly three years to find suitable land. He stated, "@pushkardhami hello sir how's you ??? It's a long time for me especially being local from Uttarakhand. I have been trying to buy land to shift my base from Delhi to Uttarakhand and I couldn't find anything facilitating and big to live here I love my Uttarakhand. My humble request to us is please help me in land acquisition cause nowadays it had become nightmare with clarity and even other land is dew which was I supposedly get when I was promoting the state before keeping everything in side I wanna move back to my native place to help and built around Uttarakhand and I want to shift back to my Pahadi people please look into this matter it's been 3 years didn't get any land awaiting your answer @pushkardhami sir."
Pant's Career Highlights
Rishabh Pant, aged 28, is a prominent player for Delhi in domestic cricket and plays a vital role in India's Test team. Currently, he is part of the India A squad participating in a three-day unofficial Test against Sri Lanka Cricket XI in Colombo, leading up to India's two-Test series against Sri Lanka starting on August 15. Pant has amassed 3,557 runs in 50 Test matches, averaging 43.37, with eight centuries and 19 fifties. Additionally, he has scored 871 runs in 31 ODIs and 1,209 runs in 76 T20Is.
Recent Developments in Pant's Career
In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Pant has recently returned to the Delhi Capitals after being traded from Lucknow Super Giants. He initially joined LSG for a record fee of Rs 27 crore but will now play for Delhi Capitals at a revised salary of Rs 15 crore.
