He expressed optimism that the tournament would contribute to the players' growth in both their athletic and personal lives.
Tournament Format and Schedule
The Girls' Under-19 Team competition commenced on Wednesday, with the boys' team events and other categories set to follow after a transition day, as per the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI).
Team Seeding and Group Stages
A total of 29 teams from various regions are competing for the championship title. The tournament's structure emphasizes the overall strength and depth of each team. Teams are seeded according to the combined ranking points of their top three players, with each team comprising up to four members. This approach underscores the significance of balanced teams over individual talent.
The teams are divided into eight groups, with the top eight seeded teams, featuring some of the nation's most talented young athletes, anticipated to advance to the pre-quarterfinals.
