Clarification on Chardham Yatra Services
In light of rising tensions between India and Pakistan, a rumor has circulated on social media claiming that the Chardham Yatra and helicopter services to Kedarnath have been suspended. Responding to this misinformation, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami provided clarity regarding the Chardham pilgrimage. He stated that the sacred journeys to Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri are proceeding as planned, urging the public to disregard any rumors.
