Launch of Electric Buses in Gautam Buddha Nagar

On Friday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated 45 electric buses for Gautam Buddha Nagar. This announcement was made during a ceremony held in Lucknow to mark the opening of the Noida Electric Bus Depot.

He remarked, "Perhaps Lord Ram arrived in Ayodhya via the Pushpak aircraft, but for centuries, the residents of Ayodhya lacked air travel. For thousands of years, Ayodhya was neglected, and even after independence, it continued to face disregard."

Transformation of Ayodhya's Connectivity

The Chief Minister noted that the situation has changed with the establishment of an airport dedicated to Maharishi Valmiki in Ayodhya. He stated, "A new Uttar Pradesh in a new India is becoming a witness to transformation, emerging as a destination for world-class road and air connectivity."

Reflecting on the state’s condition before 2017, he mentioned that Uttar Pradesh struggled with poor roads, chaos, and security concerns. He added, "Talking about investment in Uttar Pradesh before 2017 seemed like a distant dream."

Infrastructure Development and Global Challenges

The Chief Minister highlighted that over the past nine years, the 'double-engine' government has expanded infrastructure, resulting in nearly four lakh kilometers of road network in the state. He also addressed global challenges such as climate change, pollution, and conflict, stating that the world is facing the repercussions of environmental and geopolitical issues.
