Incident Involving Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya

Keshav Prasad Maurya, the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, narrowly avoided injury when his vehicle collided with a cow on Saturday night. Officials reported that the incident occurred near Bajrang Dhaba on the Pilibhit bypass road in Bareilly, resulting in significant damage to the front of the car. Fortunately, Maurya emerged from the accident without any injuries.

Immediately following the crash, Maurya was quickly transferred to another vehicle and safely transported to the airport. The accident caused temporary traffic disruptions, leading to a chaotic scene at the location. The Deputy Chief Minister was in Bareilly for official engagements.

In response to the incident, District Magistrate Avinash Singh emphasized the need for heightened road safety measures during the travels of high-profile individuals. He mentioned that a letter would be sent to the municipal commissioner to implement necessary actions aimed at preventing similar occurrences in the future.
